Responsibilities: Assistant Professor

Teaching &

- Academic Duties

- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for B.Tech students in subjects like C, C++, Java, Python, Data Structures, DBMS, TCS, MLOPS, Generative AI, Deep Learning, and Machine learning.

- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools in accordance with the approved curriculum.

- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, projects, experiential learning, and practical assessments.

- Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters.

- Supervise undergraduate projects and internships.

Research &

- Scholarly Activities

- Conduct research in the relevant area of specialization.

- Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.

- Apply for research grants and funding from government and private agencies.

- Collaborate with industry and research institutions.

Curriculum Development &

- Accreditation

- Assist in curriculum design, revision, and outcome-based education (OBE) implementation.

- Contribute to accreditation processes (AICTE, NBA, NAAC, etc.).

- Develop innovative teaching methods, including the use of ICT and e-learning tools.

Institutional &

- Administrative Responsibilities





- Participate in departmental and institutional committees.

- Assist in admissions, examinations, academic audits, and student activities.

- Engage in faculty development programs, workshops, and training.

- Contribute to outreach, consultancy, and industry–institute interaction.

Qualifications Essential

- Master’s degree (M.Tech / M.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering / Information Technology or Electronics Engineering with specialization in the Artificial Intelligence domain with 55% marks or equivalent grade in a point-scale from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Desirable

- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline or pursuing Ph.D.

- Teaching or research experience in a reputed institution.

- Industry experience relevant to the discipline will be an advantage.
