Role Description The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, leading classroom discussions, and facilitating practical sessions in their subject area on a full-time, in office basis at the Shamli campus. Daily tasks include preparing course materials, developing lesson plans, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records. The role involves mentoring students, providing academic guidance, and supporting their research or project work.

The Assistant

Professor will contribute to curriculum design, participate in departmental meetings,



and engage in institutional activities such as seminars, workshops, and outreach programs.

Responsibilities may also include pursuing scholarly activities, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting quality assurance and accreditation processes.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s) in a relevant discipline; Ph.D. or ongoing doctoral work is preferred, in line with applicable regulatory and university norms.
- Strong foundation in subject-specific knowledge and the ability to design and deliver structured, engaging courses.
- Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including classroom management, learner-centered pedagogy, and use of appropriate assessment tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work constructively with students, colleagues, and administration.
- Ability to engage in academic research, publications, or scholarly activities and contribute to the academic reputation of the institute.
- Competence with basic educational technology (presentation tools, learning management systems, online resources) to support teaching and learning.
