Role Description The Assistant Professor of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University in Jharkhand, India. The role involves delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in core and elective ECE subjects, including areas such as digital electronics, communication systems, signal processing, and related domains. The faculty member will design and update course content, prepare teaching materials, assess student performance, and provide academic mentoring and guidance.

Daily responsibilities include conducting research, publishing in reputable journals and conferences, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to departmental and university committees.



The role also requires engagement with industry and academic partners, support for student projects, and participation in academic events and outreach activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong university teaching skills, including experience in delivering lectures, supervising labs, and mentoring students in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Candidates should possess curriculum development and course design skills, with the ability to create and update syllabi, teaching materials, and assessment strategies aligned with current ECE trends.
- Candidates should possess research skills, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and guide student research projects.
- Candidates should possess communication and strategic communications skills, including clear classroom communication, academic writing, and effective collaboration with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications include a Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Electronics & Communication Engineering; a Ph.D. in ECE or a closely related field is highly preferred.
