Job Title: Assistant Professor – Mechanical Engineering (Design Specialization)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor to join the Mechanical Engineering Department with a specialization in Design. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, and contributing to departmental and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanical design and related subjects.
- Develop and update course materials, including lectures, labs, and assessments.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, research, and career development.
- Conduct original research in mechanical design or related areas and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with industry and academic partners for research and development activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.
- Contribute to institutional service such as student counseling, committee work, and outreach.

Qualifications:

- A Master’s degree (M.Tech or Ph.D.



in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with specialization in Design.
- Strong academic record and proven teaching ability at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
- Demonstrated research aptitude with publications in reputed journals/conferences is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Skills:

- Expertise in CAD/CAM, CAE tools, product design, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of industry standards and emerging trends in mechanical design.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
