Hotel Lake View, a unit of Hotel Stay Blessed, is a 23-room, 3-star property strategically located near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. We are looking for a driven and hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to help lead the next phase of our growth — strengthening our teams, streamlining operations, and expanding our online presence.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, manage and grow our Online Travel Agency (OTA) presence, and play a key role in restructuring departments and rebuilding a strong, motivated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive hospitality professional who enjoys building systems and teams from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Operations

- Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, and Maintenance departments
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and high standards of guest service
- Monitor and maintain quality, cleanliness, and safety standards across the property
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure seamless daily functioning
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource planning

OTA & Revenue Management

- Manage listings and performance on OTA platforms (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, OYO, etc.)
- Monitor rate parity, availability, and content accuracy across all channels




- Optimize pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and RevPAR
- Track and respond to online reviews and ratings to protect brand reputation
- Analyze OTA performance data and generate regular reports for management

Team Building & Department Restructuring

- Evaluate current departmental structure and recommend improvements
- Rebuild and strengthen teams through recruitment, training, and mentoring
- Define explicit roles, responsibilities, and SOPs for each department
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-centric service
- Conduct regular training sessions to upskill staff and improve service delivery
- Support performance management and staff retention initiatives

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in hotel operations, with prior exposure to OTA management
- Proven experience in team building, training, or departmental restructuring
- Strong knowledge of OTA extranets and channel management tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office / hotel PMS software
- Willingness to work flexible hours as per hotel/business needs
