We're a fast-growing beauty & personal care brand looking for an Assistant Manufacturing Chemist with hands-on experience in formulation, product development, testing, and manufacturing support across skincare, haircare, and hair removal categories.

What you'll do

- Support product development and manufacturing — formulation, lab trials, stability testing, optimization, and scale-up.
- Work on skincare, haircare, and hair removal product formulations.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers and support commercial production and batch execution.
- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing issues during scale-up.
- Support product testing and certifications including stability, efficacy, safety, and dermatological testing.
- Assist in evaluating raw materials, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.




- Maintain manufacturing and formulation documentation including BMRs, SOPs, COAs, and tech packs.
- Work with Product, Sourcing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

What we're looking for

- 2–4 years of experience in personal care / cosmetic formulation or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in formulation development, lab trials, testing, and product optimization.
- Experience in Skincare, Haircare, Body Care, or Hair Removal.
- Good knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, stability testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of commercial scale-up and contract manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of GMP, ISO 22716, BIS, and cosmetic compliance.
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Pharmacy.

Nice to have

- Experience with D2C Beauty & Personal Care brands.
- Exposure to Clean Beauty, Natural, or Ayurvedic formulations.
- Familiarity with COSMOS, ECOCERT, or similar certifications.
