This incumbent is responsible for spearheading the Quality initiatives in the Region, develop the Quality culture and ensure maintaining the Quality standards commensurate with the Godrej Brand.
Responsibilities
- Budgeting: Shall able to classify project management cost incurred consultant's scope in quality budget formation. Verifies bill payments for all expenses (as per the current corporate limit).
- Quality: Defines and modifies quality standards from customer perspective. Defines quality standards and shall able to incorporate changes in project quality plan as per project requirements & standard Standards Quality Manual. Reviews Contractors Project Quality Plans. Communicates quality standards to project teams.
- Audit Calendar: Ensures that Quality audits are conducted as per Annual Audit Calendar.
- Quality Audit Requirements: Shall able to interpret standard Quality Manual audit requirements and ISO 9001 requirements. Communicates the date and scope of audit to the regional staff and HO.- Quality.
- Operational Audits and Compliance: Conducts site audits related to process compliance and final quality along with technical specialist. Shall able to classify process and product nonconformance and shall able to relate snag with product nonconformance. Adherence to list with product nonconformance plan.
- Quality Reporting: Prepares audit/nonconformance report, communicates audit insights to site team and closure of conformances through closure meeting. Follows up on action plans with the project and design team.
- Root Cause Analysis & Preventive Actions:
Shall able to determine root cause analysis, corrections, corrective action & preventive action.
- Quality Improvement: Identifies areas of improvement in process accuracy and product specs; Reduction in nonconformance; provides input in quality management initiatives; process conformance.
- Processes: Complies with company defined guidelines; Adherence to project timelines; Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement; Initiatives taken; Impact of process improvement to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity.
Qualifications
Required: Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in quality management, with proven ability to lead quality initiatives and develop quality standards. Strong project management skills and expertise in interpreting quality standards and audit requirements are essential. Experience in process compliance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions is required. Preferred: Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience in process improvement activities are desirable. Exposure to quality management non-conformance reporting and communication with regional teams is advantageous. Experience in the consumer goods, real estate, agriculture, chemicals, or financial services sectors is preferred.
