You’ll handle the day-to-day of how Takshashila actually reaches people: writing reel scripts, managing the podcast pipeline, keeping social media running, and making sure research doesn’t just sit in a report nobody outside the policy world ever opens. Some days that means a quick clip explaining a current AI regulation, other days it’s coordinating events for a major conference. You won’t be starting from scratch (we’ve got systems and a team to work with), but you’ll need to bring your own instincts for what makes people stop and pay attention.
Content & Messaging
Draft, edit, and proofread communications material — press releases, newsletters, blog posts, social media content, and website copy.
Ensure all external communications align with Takshashila's tone, voice, and visual identity. Work with researchers to translate policy research into clear, audience-friendly content.
Digital & Social Media
Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and community engagement across social platforms. Write scripts for reels and short-form video. Coordinate the Institution's podcast(s), including guest coordination. Track performance metrics and support website updates.
