Role Description The Article Assistant – Debt Syndication will support the debt syndication and fund-raising activities of Siddhi Associates. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in preparing financial and business documentation, conducting research on lenders and financial instruments, and helping in the analysis of debt structures and client requirements. The role involves drafting reports, presentation material, and basic transaction notes,
as well as coordinating with internal team members to gather data and maintain records.
The Article
Assistant will also help track ongoing mandates and follow up on documentation and approvals. This is an internship role, based on-site in New Delhi, requiring regular in-person collaboration with the team.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research abilities, including comfort with financial data, market research, and basic credit or risk understanding.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft explicit notes, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to organize and manage documentation and spreadsheets efficiently.
- Interest in corporate finance, debt instruments, and structured finance, with a willingness to learn about term loans, credit lines, NCDs, and other debt products.
- Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed studies in commerce, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; prior internship experience in finance or consulting is an advantage.
