About the Role

As Area Sales Manager, you will own retail sales performance across Knya stores in the North region, with Delhi as your base. You will convert regional plans into consistent store execution by setting targets, reviewing performance, strengthening customer experience, and improving commercial discipline. The role requires regular field presence, hands-on coaching, and close coordination with store teams and central functions.

You will use sales reports, store metrics, market feedback, and inventory visibility to identify gaps and unlock growth across locations. Success means delivering reliable regional revenue, improving store productivity, maintaining brand standards, and building a capable team that understands the needs of healthcare professionals. This is a field-led leadership role for someone who can balance commercial ownership with operational follow-through across a distributed retail network.

Key Responsibilities

- Own North region store revenue and target achievement by translating business plans into location-level goals, review rhythms, and corrective actions that improve sales consistency and overall regional productivity.
- Lead store performance through dashboards, sales reports, conversion trends, average transaction value, and category insights, ensuring decisions are based on measurable gaps rather than assumptions.
- Coach store managers and sales teams on customer engagement, product knowledge, selling discipline, and service standards, building stronger execution and a more consistent experience for healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular store visits across the North region to assess standards, remove execution barriers,

and ensure merchandising, staffing, stock availability, and customer experience support commercial outcomes.
- Partner with operations, merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams to resolve inventory and campaign issues, improve store readiness, and capture regional demand opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity, local market trends, and customer feedback, converting field intelligence into recommendations that strengthen assortment, pricing conversations, promotions, and regional growth plans.
- Build accountability across the area by running structured reviews, documenting action plans, and following through on commitments until performance improvements are visible in store metrics.

Essential Skills & Technologies

- Strong experience in retail sales management, preferably across multiple stores or territories, with demonstrated ownership of targets, revenue performance, customer experience, and field execution.
- Ability to interpret sales dashboards, store reports, conversion metrics, productivity indicators, and inventory information to diagnose performance gaps and prioritize commercially relevant action.
- Proven capability to recruit, coach, motivate, and manage store teams through clear goals, regular reviews, practical feedback, and consistent accountability for results.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, stock coordination, customer service standards, and the operating levers that influence store productivity.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with store teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners across a regional network.
- Comfortable using CRM, point-of-sale, retail reporting, inventory, and productivity tools to maintain visibility, improve decisions, and create reliable execution rhythms.
- Willingness to travel extensively across North India and maintain a hands-on presence in stores, with strong organization and follow-through across multiple locations.

Additional Plus

- Experience selling apparel, lifestyle, healthcare, uniforms, or other customer-led retail categories where product knowledge and service quality materially influence conversion and repeat business.
- Exposure to institutional, hospital, B2B, franchise, or multi-format retail environments, with an understanding of how different channels affect regional sales planning and execution.
- Familiarity with launching new stores, improving underperforming locations, or scaling regional retail operations while protecting brand standards and customer trust.

What You'll Bring

- You bring a track record of owning area or regional sales outcomes, not just supervising activity. You know how to translate targets into store-level action and maintain momentum through disciplined performance reviews.
- You bring strong field leadership and enjoy working close to customers and frontline teams. Your store visits produce clear decisions, practical coaching, and measurable improvements in execution.
- You bring commercial judgment grounded in data. You can connect sales trends, conversion, inventory, staffing, customer feedback, and local market signals to the actions most likely to improve revenue and productivity.
- You bring a coaching mindset and high standards for customer experience. You build capable store managers, create accountability without micromanagement, and help teams understand how their work supports healthcare professionals.
- You bring structured communication and dependable follow-through. You keep central teams informed, escalate issues early, and close the loop on operational commitments across a distributed regional network.
- You bring flexibility for extensive travel across the North region and the resilience to manage changing priorities across multiple stores. You remain hands-on while keeping sight of broader regional goals.
- You bring alignment with Knya’s focus on design, quality, comfort, functionality, local manufacturing, and meaningful change. You want commercial growth to improve the daily working lives of medical professionals.

Why Join Us

- Shape the growth of an Indian medical-apparel brand whose products directly influence how doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals experience their daily work. Your regional decisions will be visible in stores and with customers.
- Own a meaningful North region mandate with direct influence over revenue, store productivity, customer experience, and team capability. The role offers broad commercial responsibility across a distributed retail network.
- Work in a company that combines design, quality, comfort, functionality, sustainable products, and local manufacturing. Your contribution will connect retail execution with a differentiated product and brand purpose.
- Join a growing organization where field insight matters. You will have the opportunity to turn customer and market feedback into better store performance, stronger regional plans, and improved experiences for healthcare professionals.

What We Offer

- Competitive compensation aligned with the role’s responsibilities, along with the prospect to own a high-impact regional sales charter across North India.
- The chance to work with a growing Indian brand focused on medical apparel, sustainable products, local manufacturing, and improved everyday experiences for healthcare professionals.
- A field-led leadership opportunity with meaningful exposure to retail operations, cross-functional decision-making, team development, and regional business growth.
