We are building a fast-growing FMCG brand and are looking for a highly driven Area Sales Manager to lead our on-ground expansion.

Role Overview

As an ASM, you will be responsible for driving sales, appointing distributors, and expanding our market presence across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver assigned primary and secondary sales targets for the territory, ensuring consistent month-on-month growth
- Develop and execute territory sales plans in line with overall business objectives
- Appoint, manage, and drive performance of distributors to build a robust and scalable distribution network
- Strengthen market coverage by expanding retail reach, improving outlet productivity, and increasing numeric and weighted distribution
- Drive effective implementation of trade schemes, visibility initiatives, and in-store execution standards
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key trade partners including distributors, wholesalers, and institutional buyers




- Identify and develop recent business opportunities across General Trade, HoReCa, and institutional segments
- Ensure optimal stock availability across the supply chain and maintain healthy inventory norms at distributor and retail levels
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, and provide timely and actionable insights
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to achieve targets
- Lead, coach, and monitor field sales teams (Sales Officers / Executives) to drive productivity and market execution excellence
- Ensure adherence to company policies, reporting systems, and sales processes with high discipline
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
- Drive collections and maintain strong control over receivables in the assigned territory
