Company Description Make My House (MMH) is a multidisciplinary team of architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and software engineers united by a passion for design, construction, and turning ideas into beautiful homes. The company offers a large, easily browsable collection of house plans and elevations that can be converted into complete drawing sets to support the construction process. These drawings enable clients to move forward with contractors without necessarily hiring separate design professionals, or to complement plans provided by their own architect.

MMH also provides fully customized house plans at a fraction of traditional costs, giving clients multiple options as they plan a once-in-a-lifetime home-building project. The focus is on helping individuals plan wisely, explore alternatives, and bring their dream houses to life.

Role Description As an Architect at Make My House, the full-time on-site role based in Indore involves designing residential floor plans, elevations, and detailed architectural drawings aligned with client requirements and local regulations. The Architect will collaborate closely with civil engineers, interior designers, and software teams to refine concepts, ensure structural feasibility, and enhance the user experience for MMH’s online plan library. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients or internal stakeholders, translating ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs, preparing 2D/3D models,



and revising plans based on feedback.

The role also includes reviewing existing plan collections for quality, assisting in the creation of custom house plans, and supporting documentation needed for construction. The Architect is expected to maintain design consistency, adhere to project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of MMH’s design standards.

Qualifications

- Robust architectural design skills, including residential planning, space optimization, and façade/elevation design.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 2D/3D tools).
- Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and construction practices applicable to residential projects.
- Ability to produce clear technical drawings, construction-ready documentation, and accurate detailing.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or registration is an advantage.
- Experience in residential architecture or home design projects is preferred; portfolio demonstrating relevant work is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple design assignments simultaneously.
