We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Team Lead to lead our dynamic interior design team and oversee multiple projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional experience in a reputed corporate interior design firm , with a strong track record of successfully leading and delivering multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

The role involves driving design excellence, managing client relationships, mentoring design teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with the design brief, quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative and creative interior design concepts for corporate offices, retail environments, showrooms, hotels, and other commercial spaces.
- Lead, mentor, and support design teams while ensuring the smooth execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide strong design direction from concept development through design development and project completion.
- Make key design decisions related to color schemes, materials, furniture, finishes, and overall aesthetics .
- Present design concepts and proposals effectively to clients, contractors, consultants, and suppliers .
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate closely with architects, management, consultants, contractors, and external teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage projects from schematic design through completion , ensuring adherence to approved design briefs and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Principal of the firm and clients from initial design conception through design development and project execution.
- Coordinate requirements related to necessary permissions and permits where applicable.
- Create design sketches and presentations both manually and digitally using AutoCAD and other relevant design software .
- Develop detailed design documentation, including:
- Material Booklets
- Sample Boards




- Schedules of Finishes
- FF&E; Booklets
- Furniture Concepts
- Ensure design solutions are innovative, functional, aesthetically refined, and technically buildable .
- Review project deliverables and maintain a high standard of design quality and attention to detail.
- Identify project challenges and provide effective design and execution solutions.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and creative environment within the design team.

Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in interior design, preferably with a reputed corporate/workplace interior design firm .
- Strong experience in leading and delivering multiple large-scale interior design projects simultaneously .
- Proven expertise in concept development, design direction, design development, and project delivery .
- Strong experience in corporate workplace interiors is highly preferred.
- Excellent client-handling, presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor design teams .
- Solid strategic and creative thinking with a refined design sensibility .
- Ability to translate creative concepts into well-resolved, functional, and buildable design solutions .
- Robust understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, FF&E;, and interior detailing .
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant interior design/drafting software .
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and impactful spaces .
- Passion for workplace design, innovation, and creating functional yet aesthetically compelling environments.
