Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced AR Caller / AR Follow-Up Executive to join a leading US Healthcare company. The ideal candidate should have robust experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up, US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), and denial management.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies:

(Preference will be given to the candidates having prior knowledge of Physician Billing and EPIC Software)

- Work on OLD AR and collect outstanding amounts.
- Work extensively on old/aged AR and prioritize accounts based on aging, balance, payer, and claim status.
- Publish a daily report that provides a snapshot of work inventory in terms of Denials, Rejections, Failures, and inactive AR to ensure that TAT is being met.
- Contact US insurance companies/payers to verify claim status, payment status, denials, and pending claims.
- Analyze denials, rejections, underpayments, and unpaid claims and determine the appropriate resolution.
- Identify the root cause of claim denials/rejections and take corrective action, including claim correction, resubmission, appeals, or follow-up.




- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all AR follow-up activities and payer interactions.
- Ensure claims are followed up within the defined TAT and productivity standards.
- Follows policies and procedures; Completes tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values.
- Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.
- Continuously develop knowledge of US Healthcare billing processes, payer requirements, and RCM best practices.
- Meet defined productivity, quality, collection, and accuracy targets.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, HIPAA requirements, and client-specific guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Must be a Graduate with minimum work experience of 3+ years in AR follow up for US Health Care / Revenue Cycle Management company.
- Knowledge of Denial Management, Rejections, and Payment Follow-Up
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
