Description PepsiCo is hiring an Application SRE AI Solutions Engineer for its Digital Products and Services team in Gurugram, India. The role focuses on building proactive SRE and AI solutions to improve reliability, observability, and operational resilience across a large application portfolio.

Experience

- 12+ years of experience
- Experience developing proactive diagnosis solutions
- Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale resiliency and AI solutions
- Strong expertise in Azure and AWS AI/ML services
- Experience with cloud-native architectures for machine learning
- Hands-on experience with LLMs
- Hands-on experience with AI agents
- Hands-on experience with MLOps pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar libraries

Qualification

- Bachelors' in computer science or a related field
- Master's in computer science or a related field

Responsibilities

- Define and implement proactive SRE solutions enabled by generative and agentic AI
- Apply SRE and quality assurance principles within application design and architecture
- Collaborate with the Data and AI Architecture team to align patterns with strategy and technical standards
- Use SRE-driven orchestration to diagnose anomalies and remediate through automation and AI




- Support incident prevention and proactive resolution across the application portfolio
- Ensure service performance, reliability, and availability for digital applications
- Define platform and model development patterns for ML models, LLMs, and AI agents
- Align AI observability patterns for model monitoring, explainability, and drift detection
- Engage cross-functional teams to standardize AI architecture practices across the enterprise
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to align AI/ML patterns to broader IT strategy and standards
- Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing across cloud environments
- Stay current with emerging AI/ML trends and provide strategic technical direction
- Prevent production incidents and improve ecosystem availability and performance
- Embed reliability and operability into recent services through design and development
- Work with customer-facing support teams to improve use of SRE insights and tooling
- Continuously improve end-to-end ecosystem performance of the modern application portfolio
- Optimize L2/support operations with AI and agentic flows
- Lead AI use cases in SRE orchestration platform design
- Drive AI Ops adoption across teams
- Explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Additional Responsibilities

- Support the global consumer, commercial, supply chain, and enablement functions across a 260+ application portfolio




- Influence product and engineering teams during design and development phases
- Define and enforce standards for events, logging, monitoring, and observability across applications
- Work alongside peer SRE team members to understand application interactions across the full stack
- Proactively prevent P1, P2, and potential P3 incidents

Nice To Have

- Exposure to popular AI frameworks such as langchain and langgraph
- Experience with ethical AI practices
