About the Role

We are looking for a strong Fleet Application Developer / Application Administrator to support, troubleshoot, and maintain applications used across ships and fleet operations. The role will focus on resolving application-related issues, supporting application availability, and ensuring that business applications continue to function effectively across the fleet. The ideal candidate should have strong application support and administration experience, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience in the marine, maritime, shipping, or fleet technology domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and maintain applications used across ships and fleet operations.
- Troubleshoot application issues and identify root causes. Resolve application incidents and service requests within agreed timelines.

- Support web-based and other business/enterprise applications.
- Perform application administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, application owners, and external vendors to resolve complex issues.
- Monitor recurring application issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes where required.

- Maintain documentation for application issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
- Provide timely support to users across different locations and vessels.

Technical Skills

Must Have

- 4 - 7 years of experience in application support, application administration, or a similar role.
- Strong application troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.





- Experience supporting web applications and enterprise/business applications.
- Strong understanding of application administration, monitoring, and configuration.
- Experience handling incidents, service requests, and user support.

- Strong root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience working with internal teams, vendors, or application owners for issue resolution.
- Good understanding of IT support processes and documentation.

Nice to Have

- Experience in marine, maritime, shipping, vessel, or fleet technology environments.
- Experience as a Marine Technology Support Administrator or in a similar role.

- Experience supporting applications used across ships or vessel operations.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with application monitoring, deployment, and upgrades.
