Role Description The Apparel Designer will be responsible for designing collections that align with client requirements, brand aesthetics, and target market trends in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Day-to-day tasks include developing design concepts, creating technical sketches, selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating closely with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to ensure designs are feasible for large-scale manufacturing.

The role also involves researching global fashion trends, preparing mood boards, refining fit and construction details,



and participating in sample development and approvals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular coordination with internal stakeholders and international clients to maintain design quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in apparel design, including concept development, sketching, and garment construction for woven wear, knitwear, and fashion apparel.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software) and ability to create clear technical packs for production teams.
- Knowledge of fashion trends, fabric types, trims, color theory, and surface treatments, with the ability to translate market insights into commercially viable designs.
- Experience working with large-scale manufacturing setups, understanding of production constraints, and familiarity with export-oriented apparel workflows.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with merchandising, sourcing, and quality teams, as well as external buyers and vendors.
- Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple design projects and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Commitment to ethical, sustainable, and quality-focused design practices aligned with global brand standards.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related field; prior experience in apparel manufacturing or export houses is an advantage.
