Position Overview:

We invite applications for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Senior Residents in Anatomy.

The role involves teaching Anatomy to MBBS students, conducting practical and demonstration classes, mentoring students, participating in academic activities, and contributing to research and departmental development.

Candidates with strong academic credentials, teaching aptitude, and an interest in medical education and research are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct lectures and teaching sessions in Gross Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Neuroanatomy, and related areas.
- Conduct practical classes, demonstrations, dissection sessions, and small-group teaching for MBBS students.
- Guide and mentor undergraduate medical students in theoretical and practical aspects of Anatomy.




- Supervise and facilitate dissection hall and museum activities.
- Prepare and conduct tutorials, seminars, case-based discussions, and formative assessments.
- Conduct practical examinations, internal assessments, and other academic evaluations as assigned.
- Participate in MBBS curriculum planning, academic schedules, and departmental teaching activities.
- Develop and maintain anatomical specimens, models, charts, and teaching resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, CME programs, workshops, conferences, and academic activities.
- Encourage and participate in research projects, publications, presentations, and academic collaborations.
- Guide students in research-oriented academic activities where applicable.
- Maintain appropriate academic records, attendance, assessment records, and departmental documentation.
- Contribute to the development of the Anatomy Department and improvement of teaching methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with other pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical departments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NMC guidelines, university regulations, institutional policies, and academic standards.

Eligibility:

Qualification:

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/MS in Anatomy from a recognized institution for faculty positions.
- Postgraduate qualification in Anatomy for Senior Resident positions, as applicable.

Experience:

- Experience as per applicable NMC norms for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor positions.
- Postgraduate candidates fulfilling the applicable eligibility criteria may be considered for Senior Resident positions.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Human Anatomy and medical education.
- Good teaching and presentation skills.
- Experience in undergraduate medical teaching.
- Expertise in dissection, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and practical Anatomy teaching.
- Good student mentoring and communication skills.
- Interest in medical education, research, publications, and academic activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary medical education workplace.
