Position: Analog Designer 3
Experience: 5-8 Years
Location: Hyderabad
Contract tenure: 1 year
We are looking for an experienced Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer with robust hands-on experience in custom analog/digital block and module-level layout using Cadence layout tools.
The candidate should have mandatory experience in TSMC 5nm or below, with exposure to TSMC 3nm and below preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom layouts for high-speed analog and custom digital blocks.
- Work on blocks such as Ring Oscillators, Dividers, Bias Blocks, Voltage/Current References, Pre-drivers, etc.
- Independently own assigned blocks/modules/macros from layout development through sign-off and release.
- Create and verify layout design views using industry-standard sign-off tools.
- Run, debug and close DRC, LVS,
PEX and other physical verification flows.
- Independently troubleshoot layout issues and drive them to closure.
- Ensure layout deliverables meet quality, performance and project milestones.
Mandatory Skills
- 5-7 years of hands-on Analog/Mixed Signal Layout experience
- Strong experience in Cadence Virtuoso XL/EXL/GXL
- Mandatory: TSMC 5nm or below
- Strong hands-on experience in custom analog/mixed-signal layout
- Experience with Calibre
- Strong knowledge of DRC, LVS, PEX and sign-off flows
- Experience in independent block/module/macro-level layout
- Experience in debugging and resolving physical verification issues
Good to Have
- Experience in TSMC 3nm and below
- Experience with SKILL scripting
- Shell / Perl scripting knowledge
- Experience in layout automation
- Good Excel skills
- Experience leading module/macro-level layout and top-level integration
