- Conduct AML, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) reviews.
- Monitor and analyze transactions to detect and report suspicious activities.
- Investigate AML-related alerts, including sanctions screening (e.g., OFAC).
- Assess AML risks unique to business units and propose automated solutions.
- Perform risk rating, name screening, and financial transaction analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports and robust narrative writing for compliance documentation.
- Gather and review new client information and monitor financial activities of existing clients.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry best practices, emerging AML risks, and criminal typologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AML compliance, suspicious transaction monitoring systems,
and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to identify financial crime risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Experience in financial services transaction data analysis and AML investigations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of global AML regulations and sanction screening requirements.
- SQL is mandatory.
