Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable Java-based applications for banking and financial services.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and drive application architecture and design decisions.
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Lead integration of applications with internal and external banking systems and services.
- Develop automated test solutions using Selenium and support overall application quality.
- Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure adherence to software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions across development and production environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions.
- Drive performance, scalability, security, and reliability improvements across applications.




- Mentor developers and contribute to technical capability building within the team.

Required Skills &

Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience leading Java development teams or working as a Technical Lead.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and test automation.
- Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, system design, and application architecture.
- Experience working in the banking - financial services domain with good understanding of banking applications and processes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
