Description

Sapiens is looking for an AI Solution Engineer to help move AI use cases from pilot to production across automation, development, QA, and Implementation Engineering. This is a hands-on build-and-ship role focused on practical, reusable AI systems.

Role: AI Solution Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India | Fulltime, Hybrid

Experience

- 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- At least 2 years of practical experience building with LLM APIs
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/test infrastructure
- Experience building developer-facing tooling within the SDLC
- Strong communication skills for working with QA, engineering, and leadership stakeholders

Responsibilities

- Develop and scale AI-powered tools for defect analysis, test automation, and performance engineering
- Build and extend agentic workflows using Claude/Anthropic APIs, MCP servers, and orchestration patterns
- Support the Dev team with code-review assistance, code and unit-test generation, and legacy-code comprehension
- Own the automation layer and design generic, reusable engines
- Partner with QA and Implementation Engineering to solve repeatable problems such as bug triage, root-cause classification, test coverage gaps, and defect-to-process mapping
- Accelerate Implementation Engineering delivery with AI-assisted configuration and data-mapping validation, requirement-to-test traceability, and generation of implementation and handover documentation
- Productionize AI initiatives from prototypes to hardened services with data validation, gating, and reporting
- Build reporting and insight layers with dashboards and analytics showing AI impact




- Drive AI governance and maintain tracking standards for AI usage and measurement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Dev, Performance, and Implementation teams across concurrent client projects

Additional Responsibilities

- Turn working prototypes into reliable, project-agnostic systems used across multiple client implementations
- Build AI tooling into the development workflow itself
- Extend browser automation frameworks into scalable, flows-based architectures
- Work on internal tools used daily by Dev engineers and QA teams
- Provide leadership with quantified visibility into hours saved, defect trends, and coverage gaps

Nice To Have

- Background in the insurance industry, including P&C;, Core Systems, Policy/Claims/Billing
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry or other enterprise AI orchestration platforms
- Experience with MCP or similar tool-orchestration frameworks
