- As an AI Solution Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of AI engineering, solution design, and enterprise customer problems. You'll build AI agents and workflows, rapidly prototype solutions, work alongside customers, and help take solutions from an ambiguous business problem to a working production system.
- You'll work on real customer problems, real AI systems, and real deployments from day one.
- It's ideal for a recent engineering graduate with 2 years of experience who wants to build deep expertise in applied AI while developing strong solution engineering and customer-facing skills.

What You'll Work on

Build AI Solutions

- Design, build, and evaluate AI agents, tool-using systems, multi-step reasoning workflows, and RAG systems for enterprise use cases.
- Build rapid POCs and MVPs using Needl.ai's AI stack as well as modern AI tools and frameworks.
- Develop AI solutions in Python, including prompt engineering, agent orchestration, LLM API integrations, and MCP servers.
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, reliability, latency, and overall agent performance.
- Experiment with emerging GenAI techniques and continuously improve solution quality.
- Support deployment and integration of AI solutions across AWS and Azure environments.

Solve Customer Problems

- Participate in customer calls alongside Solution Engineers and Product teams.
- Understand complex business workflows and translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototype AI solutions based on real customer requirements.
- Help implement, monitor, debug, and optimize deployed solutions.




- Work with customer-facing teams to understand what is working, what isn't, and what needs to improve.

Drive Solution Improvement

- Document technical solutions, implementation approaches, and learnings.
- Build internal engineering playbooks and reusable components.
- Analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve solutions and the product.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Contribute to solutions that can eventually scale beyond a single customer.

Who we're looking for

- We're looking for someone who is technically strong, curious, fast-learning, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Must have

- Recent B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience building software projects beyond coursework.
- Strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
- Familiarity with APIs, backend development, and software development fundamentals.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and build working prototypes.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with customers and cross-functional teams.

Good to have

- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, RAG, tool calling, or agentic workflows.
- Experience with technologies such as MCP, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, Claude, or similar AI platforms.




- Exposure to prompt engineering or context engineering.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and basic deployment concepts.
- Experience with frontend development.
- Machine learning, NLP, or AI coursework/projects.
- Interest in finance, fintech, or other knowledge-intensive industries.
