Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated AI Engineer with a strong Java development background to help build and integrate AI-powered applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices , along with exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI application development .

This is an excellent prospect for a software engineer who has a strong foundation in Java and is looking to grow further in Generative AI and modern AI technologies .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices .
- Develop AI-powered features using Generative AI and LLM technologies .
- Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic , or similar platforms.
- Work with prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and RAG concepts.
- Assist in developing AI assistants, chatbots, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing Java-based applications.
- Work with databases and enterprise data sources to support AI applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to design and implement AI solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Stay current with emerging Generative AI and LLM technologies .

Required Skills
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience .




- Strong hands-on experience with Java .
- Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful web services.
- Good understanding of microservices architecture .
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs .
- Experience working with at least one LLM platform or API such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic .
- Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG concepts .
- Familiarity with Python for AI-related development or scripting.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases .
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker , or similar development tools.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Spring AI , or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, pgvector, or Azure AI Search.
- Exposure to AI agents and agentic workflows .
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
- Knowledge of NLP and basic machine learning concepts.
- Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architectures .
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and AI services.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a Java developer with 2–3 years of experience who has hands-on exposure to Generative AI . Strong Java/Spring Boot fundamentals are essential, while experience with LLMs, RAG, AI APIs, and AI frameworks will be highly valued.
