Job Title: AI Automation Tester

Position: Lead Analyst

Experience: 7 9 Years

Shift: 12.30 PM to 10.00 PM IST

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Primary location: India, Karnataka, Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python / Data & AI Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Python, SQL, ETL concepts, API testing, and automation scripting. The candidate will contribute to data validation, API and application testing, and AI driven test automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python based automation scripts for application, API, and data testing.
- Perform API testing and validate data flow across applications and services.
- Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and data quality using SQL.
- Support data testing activities, including source to target validation and reconciliation.
- Leverage AI/ML capabilities,



including GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI, to improve testing productivity and automation.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and QA teams to identify and automate repetitive testing activities.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and processes.

Required Skills – Must Have

- Solid hands on experience with Python.
- Good proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and data flows.
- Experience with API testing and REST APIs.
- Experience in test automation / scripting.
- Awareness or hands on exposure to AI/ML, GitHub Copilot, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
- Basic understanding of Data Testing, including data validation and reconciliation.

Good to Have
- Experience with Apache Airflow or workflow orchestration.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with qTest or similar test management tools.
- Banking / Financial Services domain experience.

Preferred / Flexible Skills

- Deep expertise in DataStage or Informatica is not mandatory.
- Advanced TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) domain expertise is not mandatory, particularly where the candidate demonstrates strong capabilities in Python, SQL, API testing, automation, and data testing.
