Role Description The Agriculture Drone Pilot is a full time, on-site role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The role involves operating agricultural drones for activities such as field mapping, crop health monitoring, pesticide and fertilizer spraying, and data collection. The pilot will plan and execute flight missions, perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, maintain and troubleshoot drone hardware, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
The role also includes collaborating with agronomy and technical teams to interpret collected data, optimize flight routes,
and support demonstrations or training sessions for clients and internal staff. Accurate documentation of flight logs, maintenance records, and operational reports is an important part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Drone Piloting and UAV operation skills, with hands-on experience in agricultural or industrial applications.
- Candidates should have practical knowledge of Drones and related payload systems, including sensors, spraying mechanisms, and navigation tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate safe and precise Piloting abilities, including mission planning, risk assessment, and adherence to local aviation regulations.
- Candidates should have experience in Training or be willing to train operators and clients on drone usage, basic maintenance, and safety practices.
- Relevant certification or license for drone operation in India, particularly for agricultural use, is highly beneficial.
- Background in agriculture, agronomy, engineering, or a related technical field is an advantage.
- Ability to work in field conditions, travel to customer sites, and handle equipment safely is required.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized procedures and documentation practices.
