Position Overview

We are seeking a senior finance professional to lead the Accounts & Finance function across the Group. The person will be responsible for ensuring 100% accuracy and integrity of financial records, solid financial controls, timely compliance, effective working-capital management, and meaningful financial analysis for management decision-making. The role will oversee the finance teams at HO and individual manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Controls: Ensure books of accounts are completely accurate, clean, and properly maintained, with no incorrect entries, duplicate ledgers, unreconciled balances, or accounting discrepancies.

Stock Reconciliation: Ensure physical stock and book stock always match across all locations. Identify and eliminate root causes of stock discrepancies arising from incorrect entries, invoicing, production, transfers, consumption, and dispatches.

MIS & Financial Analysis: Prepare and review timely monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, working-capital reports, plant-wise profitability, cost analysis, and other management MIS.

Receivables & Collections: Ensure systematic debtor follow-up, timely collections, accurate outstanding reporting, and close monitoring of overdue receivables.

Payments & Cash Flow: Manage cash outflows efficiently, ensuring payments are accurate, authorized, timely, and aligned with cash-flow priorities. Maintain effective daily/weekly cash-flow planning.





Payables & Reconciliations: Ensure vendor balances, bank accounts, customer accounts, inter-company accounts, and other ledgers are regularly reconciled and accurate.

Compliance: Ensure all statutory, tax, audit, banking, and other financial compliances are completed accurately and within deadlines.

Team Management: Lead and supervise the HO finance team and plant accountants, establish clear processes and controls, and ensure timely completion of their responsibilities.

Cost & Process Control: Identify financial leakages, accounting inefficiencies, unnecessary costs, and process gaps; implement systems and controls to prevent recurrence.

Audit & Banking: Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.

Management Support: Provide the promoters/management with accurate financial information and analysis to support business, investment, working-capital, and strategic decisions.

Experience

10+ years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance/ 3-4 yrs of experienced CA preferably in a multi-location manufacturing/business group

Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, GST, audit, working capital, and financial reporting.

Strong understanding of inventory accounting and manufacturing accounts.

Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

Proficient in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and financial MIS.
