Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. In this position, the counselor will guide prospective students through the admissions journey, including responding to inquiries, conducting consultations, and explaining programs, curriculum, and campus life. The role involves assessing applicant profiles, supporting them through application and interview processes, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems.

The counselor will also participate in outreach activities such as education fairs, school visits, information sessions, and campus tours.



Collaboration with marketing and academic teams to align admissions messaging and provide feedback on applicant trends is an integral part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to deliver a responsive, supportive, and high-quality admissions experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to effectively present programs, address objections, and support enrollment conversions in a consultative manner.
- Candidates should possess Education-related understanding or experience in academic environments to accurately explain programs and admission requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple inquiries and applications, and use CRM or admissions software efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in admissions, counseling, higher education, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, reporting basic metrics, and adapting to a fast-paced, evolving academic setting.
