Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admission Officer – Sales & Marketing based in Bengaluru South.

The Admission

Officer will interact with prospective students and families, provide detailed information about courses and programs, and guide them through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, handling walk-in and phone inquiries, coordinating admissions events, and maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions. The role involves supporting marketing campaigns, participating in outreach activities,



and collaborating with academic and operations teams to ensure a positive and professional experience for all applicants.

Officer will work towards defined admission and sales targets while upholding AESL’s student-centric values.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build rapport with students and families and work effectively with internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, address concerns, and deliver a supportive and responsive admission experience.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of the Education sector, preferably in test preparation or academic counseling; exposure to International Admissions will be considered an advantage.
- Relevant experience in admissions, sales, counseling, or education services, with proven ability to meet targets and manage pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, business, or marketing is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or admission management systems, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, including weekends or extended hours during peak admission seasons, while maintaining a professional and inclusive approach.
