Role Description The Admission Counsellor will work full time on-site in the Mohali district, engaging with prospective students and families throughout the admissions lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include explaining CTPL-enabled digital admissions processes, providing accurate information about partner institutions and academic programs, and guiding applicants through eligibility, documentation, and application steps.

The role involves handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, maintaining detailed records in CRM or admissions systems, and following up to convert leads into confirmed admissions.





The Admission

Counsellor will also collaborate with academic and administrative teams, participate in outreach events or counseling sessions, and consistently represent CTPL’s values of transparency, student-centric service, and quality in higher education.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide a supportive admissions experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, conduct follow-ups, and convert prospects into successful admissions in a responsible, ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education domain, ideally with experience in admissions, counseling, or higher education services.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Business, or Communications preferred) and prior experience in admissions counseling or EdTech is an advantage.
- Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with CRM or admissions software, basic data entry and reporting abilities, fluency in English and local languages, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
