Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Active Directory / Identity Management Engineer with 9–12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise identity and access management. The candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Quest, ADMT, FIM, and ADFS , along with experience in AD migrations, identity synchronization, federation, and troubleshooting complex directory services environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, administer, and support Microsoft Active Directory environments across enterprise infrastructure.
- Perform Active Directory migrations and consolidations using ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool) and Quest migration tools .
- Plan and execute domain, forest, and tenant migration activities with minimal business disruption.
- Manage Active Directory Users and Computers, Groups, OUs, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services , and domain controllers.
- Troubleshoot complex Active Directory replication, authentication, DNS, and Group Policy issues.
- Configure and support ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) for authentication and federation requirements.
- Manage FIM (Forefront Identity Manager) for identity synchronization and provisioning.
- Configure and troubleshoot identity synchronization between multiple directories and identity platforms.
- Work on user, group, and service-account provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management.
- Perform AD health checks, monitoring, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis.
- Support Quest-based Active Directory migration, synchronization, and coexistence activities.
- Develop migration plans, runbooks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security,



application, and cloud teams during migration and integration projects.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Ensure Active Directory and identity infrastructure follows enterprise security and compliance standards.

Required Technical Skills

- 9–12 years of experience in Active Directory / Identity & Access Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Quest
- ADMT
- FIM (Forefront Identity Manager)
- ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services)
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and enterprise directory services.
- Experience with AD domain/forest migrations and consolidations .
- Good understanding of DNS, Group Policy, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, and Active Directory replication .
- Experience troubleshooting authentication and directory synchronization issues.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with enterprise identity provisioning and synchronization processes.
- Good understanding of security concepts related to authentication, authorization, federation, and identity management .

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments.
- Knowledge of Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect .
- Experience integrating on-premises Active Directory with cloud identity platforms.
- Knowledge of MFA, SSO, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect .
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
- ITIL/ITSM process knowledge is an advantage.
