Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will provide hands-on support in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including:
- Processing and maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable records
- Preparing and entering invoices, payments and other accounting transactions
- Monitoring customer accounts and outstanding receivables
- Reconciling accounts and identifying discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate vendor and customer records
- Organizing accounting documentation and supporting records
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets as required
- Communicating professionally with management, customers, vendors and other team members
- Assisting with additional bookkeeping and accounting-related duties as required
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have
- A minimum of 3 years of steady,
hands-on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- The ability to work independently and professionally in a remote environment
- A demonstrated history of reliability and consistency in previous positions
Dedicated Home Office Requirement
This is a remote position; however, candidates must have a dedicated professional home office.
The office must be a separate, designated workspace away from the general living areas of the home and suitable for handling confidential company, customer and financial information.
Candidates who do not have an appropriate dedicated home-office environment should not apply.
