Role Purpose To lead and manage the accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and strong internal financial controls across the organization/division.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing

- Prepare and finalize financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP)

- Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliance – GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other regulatory filings

- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors; ensure smooth completion of audits

- Manage budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and variance analysis for management review

- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund management

- Review and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies

- Supervise costing and cost control initiatives, particularly for manufacturing operations

- Liaise with banks, financial institutions,



and external stakeholders for funding, credit facilities, and compliance matters

- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team; ensure timely completion of deliverables

- Support leadership with financial analysis for strategic decision-making

- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other applicable corporate laws

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, direct/indirect taxation, and statutory compliance

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or similar)

- Excellent analytical, MIS, and financial reporting skills

- Solid leadership and team management capability

- High attention to detail with the ability to work under deadlines

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
