Role & responsibiliti

- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

- Support financial statement preparation, management reporting, and variance analysis.

- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to collect information, resolve accounting queries, and meet reporting timelines.

- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and expense classification as applicable.

- Maintain accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation or reporting enhancements.

Technical Exposure

- General ledger accounting, journal entries, accruals, and prepaid expense accounting.

- Month-end close, reconciliations,



and financial reporting support.

- Exposure to CPG, SaaS, or services accounting will be an added advantage.

Working knowledge of accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA Inter preferred; bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or commerce required.

- 25 years of relevant accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.

- Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial statements.

- Good communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
