Aditi Gems is a 25-year-old fine jewellery house in Gurugram. We deal in gold, diamond, silver, and lab-grown diamond jewellery across three showrooms, with daily billing, inventory, and GST compliance across all three.

Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and maintenance of accurate financial records.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, handling bank reconciliations, and assisting with inventory valuation and costing. The role also involves preparing financial statements and reports, supporting statutory and tax compliance, and coordinating with auditors when required. The Accountant will collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure proper documentation for purchases, sales, and stock movements.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.

What You'll Do





- Handle daily accounting entries, billing, and reconciliation across three showrooms in Tally
- Work in our jewellery billing/inventory software alongside Tally, keeping stock and accounts in sync
- Prepare and file GST returns on time
- Manage bank reconciliation and vendor payments
- Prepare monthly reports — sales, inventory value, outstanding payments
- Flag discrepancies proactively, not after they're asked about

What We're Looking For

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills — general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation
- Excellent command of Tally; proficiency with MS Excel (formulas, basic data work)
- Understanding of GST filing and tax/compliance basics relevant to retail
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized with financial records
- Relevant educational background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in retail or gems and jewellery is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram full time
