Role Description The Academic Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH, responsible for guiding prospective and current learners through their educational and career decisions. Day-to-day tasks include counseling students on suitable multimedia and design programs, explaining course structures, fees, and career outcomes, and assisting them through the admission and enrollment process.

The role involves following up with inquiries, maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions,



and coordinating with faculty and administrative teams to ensure learners receive timely support.

The Academic

Counsellor will also participate in events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the academy’s programs and help build a strong pipeline of motivated students.

Qualifications

- Counselling and advisory skills focused on academic, career, and personal guidance for students.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport, explaining programs clearly, and handling inquiries professionally.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and follow-up with prospective and enrolled learners.
- Basic sales and outreach skills for converting leads, presenting course benefits, and supporting enrollment targets.
- Familiarity with education or training environments, ideally in design, multimedia, or related creative fields.
- Comfort using computers, CRM tools, and online communication platforms for managing student data and communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, education, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Delhi, OH, with a learner-centric, inclusive, and non-discriminatory approach.
