Primary Skills Database Lead Data Modelling database Oracle TD Cassandra PG

Database Design Develop conceptual logical and physical data models eg using relational dimensional or NoSQL databases

Requirement Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and data structures

Data Optimization Optimize data query performance and ensure database scalability

Data Governance Maintain data integrity security and adherence to data management standards

Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries and ER diagrams

Collaboration Work with ETL developers data architects and analysts to integrate new data sources

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Proficiency Strong SQL skills along with experience in data modeling tools eg Erwin ERStudio and database systems eg Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL MongoDB

Modeling Techniques Expertise in ER modeling Dimensional modeling StarSnowflake schemas and Data Vault techniques

Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field

Experience Typically requires 37 years of experience in data design and management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ETL tools and data warehouse solutions

Familiarity with cloud data platforms eg Snowflake AWS Redshift Azure Synapse

Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation
