About GIGABOX:

GIGABOX is a 60-minute delivery-led omnichannel retail platform for general merchandise, seamlessly bridging online and offline shopping to deliver a unified "App Bhi, Store Bhi" customer experience. We operate category-dedicated branded stores spanning Kitchen, Sports, Toys, Bags, Gift, Electronics, Cosmetics, Home Decor, and more —that are fully integrated with our iOS and Android apps.

Our core USPs include 80-90% product assortment availability, a true touch-and-feel in-store experience, and fast local delivery within 60 minutes. Within 6 months of launch, we achieved over 5+ crores in cumulative revenue, attaining both store-level and company-level profitability. We currently operate two large-format stores in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: The GIGABOX Kitchen Store (4500+ sq. ft.) and GIGABOX Sports Store (4000+ sq. ft.), both launched-on 10th Nov 2025. We are actively expanding with two additional Jodhpur stores for Toys and Bags, scheduled to launch on 14th September 2026. Backed by ₹7 crores raised across two funding rounds in our first year, our current ARR is ₹12 crore and is projected to reach ₹25 crore post-expansion. Our overarching vision is to build India's No. 1 general merchandise platform across the top 50 cities by launching 600 stores over the next 5-8 years.

JOB DISCRIPTION

Position: Cashier

Industry: Retail

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.

• Manage daily cash handling and maintain proper cash records.

• Generate bills and invoices for customers.

• Maintain daily sales and transaction records.

• Manage cash counter operations and ensure accurate cash reconciliation.

• Assist customers with billing-related queries.

• Coordinate with the Sales and Store teams for smooth billing operations.

• Ensure proper opening and closing of the cash counter.

• Ensure proper handover of all cash and online payment collections to the concerned person at the end of each day (EOD), along with accurate reconciliation and records.

• Maintain accuracy and prevent billing or cash discrepancies.

• Follow company policies and maintain a professional attitude with customers.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in the Retail Industry.

• Good knowledge of cash handling and cash reconciliation.

• Basic to good knowledge of Tally.

• Basic knowledge of billing software/POS systems.

• Positive communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets will be an advantage.

• Honest, responsible, and detail oriented.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
