Job Title: Integration Lead Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Integration Lead + Base Platform Expert - Automotive Linux (OS) to drive end-to-end system integration and base platform stability for next-generation telematics platforms.

This role focuses on Yocto-based Linux platform integration, including BSP, kernel, drivers, middleware, and applications, ensuring a bootable, reliable, and production-ready system on target hardware (TCU).

You will play a critical role in enabling system bring-up, build validation, flashing, and hardware-software integration, working closely with OS, middleware, application, and hardware teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end system integration across:

.OS (Yocto Linux, kernel, BSP)

.Middleware (SOME/IP, services)

.Applications (telematics features)

Own platform bring-up and board support package (BSP) integration on target hardware

Ensure successful build generation, flashing, and boot-up on TCU hardware

Debug and resolve boot issues, kernel crashes, driver failures, and integration defects

Manage and validate Yocto builds, image creation, and deployment pipelines

Drive hardware-software integration including peripherals, networking, and modem (4G/5G)

Define and execute integration test plans and validation strategies

Collaborate with vendors (OEMs, Tier-1s) for dependency resolution and issue tracking

Enable continuous integration and build validation workflows

Optimize system stability, boot time, and performance at platform level





Support production readiness including signed/unsigned image handling and provisioning flows

Required Skills & Expertise

.Platform Integration & BSP

.Strong experience in Yocto Linux, BSP, kernel, and driver integration

.Experience in board bring-up and hardware-software integration

.Deep understanding of boot sequence (U-Boot, Kernel, RootFS)

Embedded Linux & Debugging

.Strong knowledge of Linux internals, device drivers, and system services

.Expertise in debugging boot issues, kernel panics, and system crashes

.Experience with log analysis (dmesg, syslog, boot logs)

Build & Deployment

.Hands-on experience with Yocto builds, image generation, and flashing tools

.Understanding of cross-compilation and embedded deployment workflows

.Experience in handling signed/unsigned images and provisioning

Connectivity & Integration

.Knowledge of modem integration (4G/5G), networking, and communication stacks

.Understanding of SOME/IP middleware integration

.Experience in end-to-end system validation on TCU hardware

Good to Have

.Experience in automotive domain (telematics, ECUs, connected vehicles)

.Exposure to OTA/FOTA update mechanisms

.Experience with CAN, Ethernet, DoIP protocols

.Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity and secure boot
