1. Role Overview

The Global IT Infrastructure Transformation Head will lead the strategy, transformation, standardization, modernization, and governance of IT infrastructure across Indorama Ventures' global operations, with the Kolkata GTC serving as a key transformation and delivery hub.

The role will provide end-to-end ownership of the infrastructure transformation agenda, working closely with global business and manufacturing/site IT teams, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, application teams, procurement, finance, strategic technology partners, and managed service providers.

The position will drive the transition from a predominantly site-driven infrastructure model toward a standardized, secure, scalable, resilient, cost-optimized, and centrally governed global IT infrastructure operating model.

Global IT Infrastructure Transformation

- Define and execute the global IT infrastructure transformation roadmap.
- Assess the current infrastructure landscape across global sites and identify transformation opportunities.
- Establish global infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Drive modernization of network, compute, storage, cloud, workplace, data center, connectivity, and related infrastructure services.
- Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives for existing as well as current/greenfield manufacturing locations.
- Ensure infrastructure is aligned with business growth, Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and operational requirements.

Global Infrastructure Operating Model
- Define and implement the Global IT Infrastructure Target Operating Model.
- Establish clear ownership, accountability, governance, service management, and escalation mechanisms.
- Define roles and responsibilities across Global IT, GTC, site IT teams, and strategic technology partners.
- Develop a scalable Global + Regional/Site + Vendor operating model.
- Drive consolidation and standardization wherever commercially and operationally beneficial.

Manufacturing & Site Infrastructure Transformation
- Provide technology leadership for IT infrastructure across manufacturing and operational sites.
- Establish standardized infrastructure blueprints for manufacturing facilities.
- Support greenfield and brownfield site infrastructure deployments.
- Ensure appropriate integration between enterprise IT infrastructure and manufacturing/OT environments in collaboration with relevant OT teams.
- Drive infrastructure readiness for Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Network & Connectivity Transformation
- Develop and execute global network transformation strategies.
- Standardize LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, remote access, and site connectivity.
- Improve network availability, performance, resiliency, and security.




- Evaluate opportunities for network consolidation, managed services, and vendor optimization.

Cloud & Data Center Transformation
- Drive cloud adoption and infrastructure modernization aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Establish cloud governance, architecture standards, cost optimization, and operational processes.
- Evaluate data center consolidation, migration, modernization, and managed-service opportunities.
- Partner with FinOps and technology teams to optimize infrastructure costs.

Cybersecurity & Resilience
- Ensure infrastructure transformation aligns with global cybersecurity standards and policies.
- Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement secure-by-design infrastructure.
- Strengthen infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and availability.
- Ensure appropriate security controls across manufacturing sites and corporate environments.

Vendor & Managed Services Management
- Lead strategic infrastructure technology partners and managed-service providers.
- Define SLAs, KPIs, governance mechanisms, service credits, and performance expectations.
- Drive vendor consolidation and commercial optimization where appropriate.
- Participate in RFPs, contract negotiations, technology evaluations, and service transition.
- Establish strong governance with strategic partners to ensure delivery against transformation objectives.

Program & Portfolio Leadership
- Own the global infrastructure transformation portfolio, including roadmap, priorities, dependencies, risks, and investments.
- Establish transformation governance and regular executive reporting.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
- Manage cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Drive change management and stakeholder adoption.

Financial & Cost Optimization
- Develop infrastructure transformation business cases and investment proposals.
- Drive infrastructure cost optimization through standardization, consolidation, automation, cloud optimization, and vendor management.
- Work with Business, Corporate teams on budgeting, forecasting, , and cost governance.
- Track transformation benefits and measurable ROI.

Automation & Service Excellence
- Promote automation, observability, proactive monitoring, and self-service capabilities.
- Establish infrastructure KPIs and service health dashboards.
- Improve incident, problem, change, and capacity management in partnership with IT Service Management.
- Drive continuous improvement across infrastructure operations.

5. Candidate Profile Experience
- 20+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Operations, Infrastructure Transformation, or related leadership roles.
- Significant experience managing global/multi-country infrastructure environments.
- Experience in manufacturing or other geographically distributed enterprises preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale infrastructure transformation programs.
- Experience managing strategic technology vendors and managed service providers.
- Experience with cloud, network transformation, cybersecurity, data center, workplace, and infrastructure modernization.
