Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced SharePoint Migration Expert with 8+ years of experience in SharePoint administration, architecture, and migration projects. The candidate will lead enterprise-scale migrations from SharePoint On-Premises (2010/2013/2016/2019) to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) while ensuring security, governance, performance, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SharePoint migration projects from On-Premises to SharePoint Online.
- Assess existing SharePoint environments and develop migration roadmaps.
- Plan and execute content migration of sites, document libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, and metadata.
- Modernize legacy SharePoint solutions and migrate classic sites to modern SharePoint experiences.
- Configure and manage SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Implement governance, security, compliance, retention, and information management policies.
- Perform migration testing, validation, troubleshooting, and post-migration support.
- Automate migration and administration tasks using PowerShell.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, infrastructure teams, and project managers.




- Prepare technical documentation, migration reports, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SharePoint Administration and Development.
- Proven experience migrating SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online.
- Robust hands-on experience with:
- ShareGate
- Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT)
- AvePoint
- Metalogix

- Expertise in SharePoint Server 2010/2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID integration and authentication methods.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise migration projects involving multiple terabytes of data.

Preferred Skills
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development experience.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and governance best practices.
- Experience with workflow modernization and Power Platform solutions.
- Understanding of Microsoft Purview, retention policies, and compliance controls.
- Experience with Azure services and hybrid environments.

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft Certifications such as:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
- SharePoint/Microsoft 365 related certifications preferred.
