Purpose of the position: Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at assigned customer accounts. Identifies and develops new sales opportunities while creating demand for the organization s products and services. Achieves revenue targets by increasing spend per account and conducting regular strategy meetings with customers to understand their needs and align them with the organization s offerings.

Develops medium to long-range sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with existing clients. Resolves issues to ensure high-quality customer service, while identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client retention and drive profitable business growth.

Major tasks and responsibilities

- Sales Strategy Target Achievement: Develop and implement regional monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategies to achieve targets for secondary and primary sales.

- Team Leadership Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and sales representatives, including field coaching and performance appraisals.

- Channel Distribution Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners, ensuring optimal stock levels, effective inventory management, and smooth claim processing.

- Market Expansion Visibility: Expand the retailer network (pharmacies, chemists, general stores)



and enhance product visibility and merchandising within the market.

- Reporting Analytics: Monitor Daily Sales Reports (DSR), maintain MIS records, and analyze market trends and sales data to track progress.

- Competitor Intelligence: Keep track of competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional schemes, providing feedback to the head office.

Qualifications experience

- Experience: Previous experience in the OTC, Pharmaceutical, or FMCG sector, with experience in managing a team.

- Education: A Bachelors or Master s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Pharmacy.

- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical skills, negotiation, communication, and proficiency in MS Office
