The position is responsible for the SAP BW -Development, enhancements, with expertise in Production support. Have experience in Modeling, Extraction, reporting pertaining to SAP BW 7.5 on HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work experience in Enhancements and supporting the enterprise BW, expertise in HANA-BW data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
- Work with Users and Functional teams to gather & document reporting requirements and to use the underlying data sources/data warehouses to meet business requirements.
- Act as an expert in Daily Production support activities pertaining to SAP BW, CDS Views
- Worked on Production support data load issues , bugs ,
tickets from Business and enhancements.
- Expertise in setup table fill concept, extraction from source systems like S4 Hana, ECC, APO
- Worked extensively on extraction from source system like S4, APO, HR , Flat file etc. Expertise in LO Cockpit Extractions, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions. Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
- Liaise with the SAP Functional Teams to work on solutioning on all Gaps/Enhancements or bug fixes.
- Expertise in SAP BI/BW Data-ware house & Development of BW Objects, which includes Prototyping & Technical Specifications.
- Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions for junior developers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
