Windchill Solution Architect | Hands-on Architecture

Lead the solution architecture of PTC Windchill implementations, upgrades, and enhancements , ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical architecture, and PLM best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Windchill solution architecture across implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Work directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
- Design scalable, maintainable Windchill solutions aligned with business processes.
- Lead workshops covering requirements, future-state processes, and solution roadmaps.
- Develop functional specifications and solution architecture documentation .
- Guide technical teams to ensure delivery aligns with the defined architecture.
- Stay engaged throughout the engagement lifecycle to manage risks and maintain solution alignment .
- Support pre-sales ,



including solution design, scoping, and effort estimation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, partners, and internal teams on Windchill best practices.

Must-Have
- Proven experience in a PTC Windchill Solution Architect role.
- Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, configuration, and administration .
- Experience designing and delivering PLM solutions for manufacturing environments .
- Ability to translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions .
- Proven experience leading client workshops and engaging with executive and technical stakeholders .
- Solid documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills .
- Comfortable working as a hands-on, client-facing architect throughout the full engagement lifecycle.

Work type: Remote support role Required availability ( between 6:30 PM to 2:30 AM) IST, for 4-5 hrs daily

US shift (generally till 12:30 AM IST sometimes meeting can happen till 2:30 AM)
