What you will own

- Rebuild the JRD Systems website end to end: information architecture, build, performance, accessibility, and responsive behavior. You will have a real say in the stack.

- Ongoing management of the site and our digital properties after launch: releases, updates, uptime, security patching, and backups. This is a build-and-run role, not a project handoff.

- HubSpot integration: forms, tracking, lifecycle workflows, and source attribution wired end to end so pipeline is visible without spreadsheets.

- Front-end motion and interactivity. Our design direction is moving away from static 2D toward motion graphics and interactive elements, and we need someone who can build that rather than approximate it.

- AI tooling inside the marketing stack: content operations pipelines, LLM API integration, and automation that removes manual production work. This is a real part of the job, not a side experiment.

- Analytics instrumentation: GA4, Search Console, tag management, and event tracking the marketing team can trust.

- Technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawlability, and site performance as an ongoing responsibility rather than a launch checklist.

What we are looking for

Required

- Four or more years building and shipping production web applications, with live work you can point us to.

- Strong front-end fundamentals: modern JavaScript, React or an equivalent framework, and CSS at a craft level rather than a framework-default level.

- Real WordPress depth: custom themes, ACF, block development, and the judgment to say when WordPress is the wrong tool.

- Production experience with LLM and AI APIs. Integration, prompt engineering that survived contact with real users,



and automation or agentic pipelines.

Using

ChatGPT to write code is not what we mean here.

- Comfort with guiding decisions from leadership and asking questions. You scope, you decide, you ship, and you flag risk early.

- Written English strong enough for async collaboration with a US-based team. Most of our communication is written.

Valued, not required

- Headless CMS work, particularly Next.js with Sanity, Contentful, or similar.

- Motion and 3D on the web: GSAP, Framer Motion, Three.js, WebGL, or Spline.

- HubSpot developer experience, including HubL and custom modules.

- Marketing automation, CRM integration, or data pipeline work.

How we work

- Async-first. The team spans US Pacific and India, with one fixed synchronous block each week and written communication for everything else.

- You work directly with the Marketing Manager and the designer, with our internal engineering team available for architecture and review.

- Small team, short path to a decision. You will not wait on three approval layers to change a template.

First 90 days

- Weeks 1 to 3: set up your setting, audit the current site, make and document the stack decision, start building the anchor pages.

- Weeks 4 to 8: build the site against the design system, get HubSpot forms, tracking, and attribution live, put the staging site up for review.

- Weeks 9 to 12: launch the site, establish the performance and SEO baseline, and ship the first AI-assisted content pipeline.
