About The Role We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Writer specialized in SEO to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content across various digital platforms, including blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media channels.

Your primary focus will be to produce content that enhances our online visibility, attracts prospective students, and effectively communicates the value of studying abroad through The Chopras. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of SEO best practices, excellent research skills, and the ability to adapt content to different formats and target audiences. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in content writing, preferably within the education or travel industry, is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research tools, and content management systems is essential. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are required, along with the ability to produce compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs will be advantageous.

Candidates should demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team workplace.

Responsibilities Research, write, and edit SEO-optimised blog posts, articles, and landing pages around study abroad topics (university guides, visa processes, test prep, scholarships, etc.)

- Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density)
- Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals
- Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs, and iterate based on data




- Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices
- Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (counselors) to ensure content accuracy on study abroad topics
