Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Territory Collection Manager - Recovery to lead and manage hard bucket collections for the Micro Finance portfolio in Tirunelveli. The incumbent will be responsible for driving collection efficiency, controlling delinquency, managing legal and recovery actions, and leading a field collection team of approximately 35 members.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and drive collections for MFI hard bucket accounts (90+ DPD and above).

- Achieve collection and recovery targets as per business requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of approximately 35 collection executives and team leaders.
- Develop territory-specific recovery strategies to maximize collections.
- Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and recovery campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical collection practices.




- Monitor portfolio health and implement corrective actions to reduce delinquency.
- Coordinate with legal and operations teams for recovery and settlement cases.
- Track daily collection performance and provide MIS reports to management.
- Drive productivity, discipline, and performance management within the team.

Preferrable candidate
- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized institution.
- 5-10 years of experience in Collections/Recovery within NBFC, MFI, Housing Finance, or Banking sectors.
- Minimum 3 years of team handling experience.
- Robust exposure to hard bucket collections and recovery operations.
- Experience managing large field collection teams.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
