- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plating Technician to operate, monitor, and maintain electroplating processes for components requiring Zinc, Copper, Nickel, Tin, and Silver plating. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of plating operations, chemical handling, quality requirements, and process control.

- Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor electroplating lines, tanks, rectifiers, and related equipment.

- - Perform Zinc, Copper, Nickel, Tin, and Silver plating as per specified process requirements.

- - Prepare components for plating through cleaning, degreasing, pickling, activation, and other surface-preparation processes.

- - Monitor and control plating bath parameters, including temperature, pH, chemical concentration, current, and plating time.

- - Ensure required coating thickness, adhesion, appearance, and surface finish are achieved.

- - Perform visual inspections and basic quality checks of plated components.

- - Identify common plating defects and take appropriate corrective actions.

- - Maintain plating tanks, equipment, fixtures,



and associated tools in valuable operating condition.

- - Maintain accurate process records, bath-analysis records, production reports, and inspection records.

- - Follow all applicable safety, chemical-handling, PPE, environmental, and waste-disposal procedures.

- - Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure consistent plating quality and process compliance.

- Required Skills & Qualifications

- - Previous experience in electroplating operations is preferred.

- - Practical knowledge of Zinc, Copper, Nickel, Tin, and Silver plating processes.

- - Understanding of plating chemicals, bath maintenance, and process parameters.

- - Knowledge of common plating defects and their causes and corrective actions.

- - Ability to safely handle chemicals and electrical plating equipment.

- - Good understanding of workplace safety and environmental procedures.

- - ITI / Diploma in a relevant technical trade is preferred.

- - Good attention to detail and ability to follow process specifications and work instructions.

- Preferred Experience
- Candidates with hands-on experience in industrial electroplating, bath maintenance, thickness control, and plating quality inspection will be given preference.
