Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan and execute production activities on the shop floor to meet customer requirements.

- Ensure effective use of resources, including manpower handling, CNC machines, VMC machine, VMC programming, CNC programming, setter activities, rejection control, shift planning, and OEE optimization.

- Implement Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste in machine shop operations.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective line balancing, machine scheduling, Poka Yoke implementation, cycle time reduction (CTR), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

- Monitor quality standards by controlling defects per million opportunities (DPMO) and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 7-10 years of experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing industry setting.

- Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; knowledge of mechatronics an added advantage.

- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles such as 5S system maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen events.
