Technical Associate Engineering (Instrumentation)

Position description:

To assist in project construction phase and operate & maintain instrumentation post project stabilization.

Primary Responsibilities:

- To assist project and contract team to install plant instrumentation in project scope.
- To stabilize, operate and maintain instrumentation after completion of project.
- Responsible to handle & assist all project related activities like DCS commissioning, Field instrument erection, commissioning, and installation etc.
- Strategic: Carrying out in house & external calibration of instruments as per schedule for proper functioning.
- Operational: Carry out & maintain safety interlocks & controlling instruments in working
- Complete shutdown instrument maintenance within time limit.
- Carry out instrument preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Check all received spares as per specification.
- Check logbook & decide jobs on priority basis.
- Carry out shutdown, break down, & preventive maintenance as per schedule to reduce plant break down.
- Responsible for smooth operation of instruments.
- Taking plant round & check instrument & write observation in daily report book.
- Inspection & checking of gas detector system as per schedule.
- Responsible to indent & inspect material as per specification.
- Responsible to maintain daily logbook.




- Responsible for monitoring of flammability & oxygen percentage in the work environment as per schedule.
- Authorized to check safety of the instrument.
- Ensure to follow safety norms to achieve zero accidents.
- Report any near miss /incident or any non-compliance.)
- Report non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions
- corrective actions to eliminate recurrence of incident etc.
- Assist EHS systems procedures and practices as per ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 & Responsible Care Management System.
- To monitor and control R&M; Budget & work accordingly.
- Look out all projects field instruments, DCS, PLC, SCADA erection, installation, and commissioning.

Maintenance, calibration, and ISO documentation of all Instrument

Equipment's is must.
